Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Emunet’s website, software, applications, subscriptions, services, and related technologies.

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, installing Emunet, accessing the website, or using any Emunet service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use Emunet.

1. About Emunet

Emunet provides intelligent filtering, classification, protection, policy management, and related services for supported devices and environments. Emunet is designed to deliver modern internet protection with a focus on privacy, speed, control, and intelligent classification.

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and ensuring that your use of Emunet complies with applicable laws and these Terms.

If you create or manage an account on behalf of an organization, family, school, business, or other group, you represent that you have authority to do so.

3. Accounts, Licenses, and Devices

Emunet subscriptions and licenses may be limited by device count, user count, subscription tier, account type, deployment configuration, or separate agreement.

You may not share, resell, transfer, or misuse licenses except as expressly permitted by Emunet or by a separate written agreement.

4. Subscription Billing and Renewal

Emunet may offer monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, and enterprise or organizational agreements.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout or in a separate agreement, paid subscriptions automatically renew until canceled. You authorize Emunet or its payment processors to charge the applicable subscription fees and any related taxes or charges on a recurring basis.

Pricing, plans, features, and subscription terms may change from time to time. If required by applicable law, Emunet will provide notice of material changes.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription according to the cancellation process provided by Emunet.

Unless otherwise stated in a separate agreement or required by applicable law, subscriptions and licenses may become non-refundable after activation, installation, or use.

Emunet may evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Enterprise customers or organizational deployments may be subject to separate refund, cancellation, or termination terms.

Internal note for Emunet team: final refund policy still needs legal/business confirmation. Possible options include “no refunds after activation,” “7-day refund before activation,” or “case-by-case exceptions.”

6. Administrator-Managed Accounts

Certain Emunet accounts may be administrator-managed. In these environments, authorized administrators may have the ability to configure policies, manage settings, approve or deny access requests, view certain service-related information, and control deployment options.

The level of administrator visibility and control may vary depending on account configuration, plan type, and deployment settings.

Users of administrator-managed accounts acknowledge that their use may be subject to administrator settings and controls.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, copy, or attempt to extract source code or proprietary methods from Emunet.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to Emunet systems, accounts, devices, data, or infrastructure.
  • Circumvent, disable, manipulate, or interfere with Emunet filtering, protection, classification, or policy systems.
  • Use Emunet for unlawful surveillance, harassment, abuse, or any unlawful purpose.
  • Misrepresent your identity, account permissions, organization, or authority.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Emunet without written permission.
  • Introduce malware, malicious code, or disruptive activity into Emunet systems.
  • Use Emunet in a way that violates applicable laws, rights, or third-party agreements.

8. Intellectual Property and Patent-Pending Technologies

Emunet and its related software, technologies, AI models, classification systems, filtering methods, workflows, interfaces, designs, content, trademarks, logos, documentation, and proprietary processes are owned by Emunet or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent, and other intellectual property laws.

Emunet includes proprietary patent-pending filtering and classification technologies. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any Emunet intellectual property.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any Emunet technology, content, or intellectual property except as expressly permitted by Emunet.

9. AI and Filtering Disclaimer

Emunet uses AI-assisted systems, automated technologies, and proprietary classification methods to support filtering, categorization, policy handling, and related functions.

No filtering, classification, or AI system can guarantee perfect accuracy in all situations. Filtering decisions, classifications, access outcomes, or content handling may occasionally vary, evolve, or produce false positives or false negatives.

Emunet continuously works to improve accuracy, performance, and reliability, but users and administrators remain responsible for appropriate configuration, supervision, and use.

10. Service Availability and Changes

Emunet may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the services at any time. We do not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Certain features may be added, removed, changed, or limited based on plan type, device compatibility, deployment requirements, or security considerations.

11. Third-Party Services

Emunet may rely on third-party providers for payment processing, hosting, analytics, support, communications, security, or other operational functions. Use of certain third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

12. Privacy

Your use of Emunet is also governed by our Privacy & Security Policy, which explains how Emunet collects, uses, protects, and processes information.

13. Enterprise and Organizational Agreements

Enterprise customers, organizations, MSPs, or other managed deployments may operate under separate written agreements. Where a separate written agreement directly conflicts with these Terms, the separate written agreement will control for that customer or deployment.

14. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Emunet is provided “as is” and “as available.” Emunet disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free performance, except where such disclaimers are prohibited by law.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Emunet shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or damages arising from filtering outcomes, service interruptions, configuration choices, or use of administrator-managed controls.

Emunet’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Emunet for the applicable service during the period permitted by law, unless a different amount is required by applicable law or agreed in writing.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Emunet from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the services, violation of these Terms, unlawful deployment, unauthorized account management, or infringement of third-party rights.

17. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

To the extent permitted by law, disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Emunet shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where arbitration is prohibited by law or where either party seeks relief for intellectual property misuse or unauthorized access.

You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive participation in class actions, class-wide arbitration, or representative proceedings, to the extent permitted by law.

Internal note for Emunet team: arbitration/class action waiver language should be reviewed by counsel before launch.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

19. Changes to These Terms

Emunet may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of Emunet after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
